This is not an upscale place, but it was very clean and convenient for our weekend plans to drive all over N. GA and Western NC. We arrived late and had no problems getting our key. It was very clean, beds were comfy, and everything smelled fresh. There is a small coffeemaker in the room, and we had two towels. There was a window to the backside of the hotel in our room (130), and I would suggest getting an upstairs room. The outside is not much to look at, but it was clean and convenient for a last-minute weekend getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for a little weekend get away. The motel is a little older but so nice and quiet. Rooms were clean and everything was nice and neat. The price was also very reasonable. I would stay here again. Sometimes you don't need a big 5 star hotel to enjoy the finer things in life. We also went to The Dillard House to eat and the food is simply amazing. Also checked out the Blue Hound and grill bbq and it was so good. The little shops are filled with so many treasures along with the indoor flea market. I will be back

Great location, super nice and friendly staff, charming setting and clean rooms, all at a good value. They offer a Continental breakfast too . They are working on upgrades and it looks like a recent exterior paint job. Rooms are reasonably updated with vinyl flooring, updated furnishings and bedding. It's a wood structure and you can hear other rooms and outside people coming and going, but it's tolerable. If they could update soundproofing it would be a nice improvement. I was on the ground floor and could hear the upstairs guests walking around and rolling luggage . The walls didn't keep out the sounds of adjoining rooms I slept with a television on, so it didn't keep me from rest. I recommend it for convenience to mountain parks for hiking , easy to walk to stores and nearby restaurants. It's a respectable value if you're only planning to sleep and shower while taking in other outdoor activities.

Easy to locate even with the construction. Quiet, except for one night of a mom and approx. right year old stomping & making noise above us. Thankfully, it was one of three nights we stayed. Problem with cable, but not the owners fault. He wants Fiber but they haven't made it available yet. We were thankful for a downstairs room we could park in front of!

This is definitely an older hotel. When we arrived, there was a nice, small bonfire in the middle of the hotel. The bathroom sink was near the head of my bed, outside of the bathroom, which is not so unusual; however, I was able to sit on my bed and wash my face and brush my teeth. The toilet rocked, so I got a small ride every time I used it. The room was clean. At check out, the office was empty with a basket to place you key, and you could grab breakfast on your way out.

The rooms were clean, but they did not provide enough towels. We were told that the breakfast was not going to be up to par, so we did not partake. The coffee in the rooms was not good, not enough supplies for 2 cups unless you like it black. The shower was hot, the tub drained properly, no issues showering. WiFi is slow and didn't stay connected. It seemed like from the photos online that there would be a balcony/place to look at the mountains out back, but there is not unless you get that specific room. Otherwise, it was a quiet night stay.

Cheap hotel room, about what you’d expect but was a great stopping point in the way from Florida to the GSM National park. Service clerks were very kind. And the view from the windows was nice. No elevator.
